Owners of commercial buildings restaurants and small businesses require cost-effective flooring, flexible installation hours and on-time completion.
As an installer-owned company, Thielen Brothers is sensitive to the needs of our small business customers. We can provide professional flooring solutions for almost any commercial activity.
There are three key differences between commercial grade flooring and residential grade flooring.
- ADA Accessibility – Commercial grade floors are required to be slip resistant and meet ADA requirements for a coefficient of friction of at least 0.6
- Flammability Requirements – Commercial grade flooring also has flammability requirements that vary from state to state.
- Durability – Commercial grade carpeting is usually more durable and will last longer therefore making it slightly more expensive than residential flooring
Ask us about which of these materials will be best for your particular application; tile, carpeting, laminates or resilient flooring.
Thielen Brothers are experts in flooring applications. We’ll also save you time and money with our custom made shelving jig for moving shelves and merchandise in retail stores and libraries.
